(Tahlequah-AP) -- Tahlequah residents will fill the streets to celebrate Northeastern State University's men's basketball NCAA Division 2 championship.

A parade is scheduled to honor the team who finished 32-and-3 for the season.

The Redmen beat Kentucky Wesleyan Saturday for the NCAA crown.

This is NSU's first national championship.

The procession will begin at 4:30 this afternoon at the Cherokee Town Square and head down to the NSU campus.
