(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The state House has passed a bill to allow multicounty grand juries to investigate alleged crimes that occur in just one county.

The bill would overturn the effect of state court rulings that say the multicounty juries can't investigate crimes isolated to a single county.

Prosecutors complain the rulings make it harder to try some cases.

The bill now goes to a House-Senate conference committee for further review.
