Layoffs announced within the Hilti Group. The company announced Monday it will relocate the manufacturing plant that is now in Tulsa to Hilti facilities in Europe and Asia.

140 employees work at the plant that makes drill bits and other construction fasteners. Hilti has said it will make an effort to help all those losing their jobs find new employment within the field.

The Hilti corporate headquarters with 650 employees will remain in Tulsa.
