(Ponca City-AP) -- A mother-daughter duo is showing support for US troops by making patriotic bears to send to them.
Ten-year-old Brianna Green and her mother, Candy are sending red, white and blue bears. Candy sews them and Brianna stuffs them.
They say each bear is made with love. About seven hours of work goes into each one, and the Greens are paying for the material and shipping out of their own pockets.
The bears come with a poem Brianna wrote and a note of thanks.
Brianna and Candy say they will keep making the bears until they can't afford to make or ship them.
The first set of bears will be shipped on Monday.
