Security is being increased at potential terrorist targets across the country, including the Keystone Dam.

The dam is upstream from Tulsa, holding back the Arkansas River. If the dam were destroyed, the results for downtown Tulsa could be catastrophic. Ross Adkins with the US Army Corps of Engineers says authorities are not taking any chances. "We've actually been working on security issues ever since the Murrah building and of course 9-11 increased our sensitivity to security issues even more."

Adkins couldn't be specific on security precautions. But he says the public also can help protect the dam. It's a popular recreation area, so anyone spotting anything out of the ordinary should contact authorities.
