(Jackson, Tennessee-AP) -- Southern Nazarene upset Oklahoma City 71-to-70 Tuesday night to win the NAIA women's championship in Jackson, Tennessee.
Khady Ngom scored ten points in the final six minutes, including the winning basket for Southern Nazarene.
The Crimson Storm won their sixth national title and spoiled Oklahoma City's bid to be the first team in NAIA history to win five consecutive championships.
It was the first loss of the season for Oklahoma City, who end the season with a 34-and-1 record.
Oklahoma City and Southern Nazarene both play in the Sooner Athletic Conference in Oklahoma. The Stars beat Southern Nazarene twice during the season, by scores of 75-to-67 and 80-to-68.
