LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Actress Julie Andrews is still drawing audiences more than 40 years after gaining superstar status on Broadway and in film.
Andrews, 67, remains busy with movie roles and writing her autobiography and children's books.
``I find it very stimulating,'' she said. ``I'm delighted that there is still a lot of interest.''
Andrews appeared on the Oscars telecast Sunday in a reunion of Academy Award winners in recognition of her 1964 best actress Oscar for ``Mary Poppins.''
She is scheduled to appear Monday night at the Orange County Performing Arts Center to discuss ``A Few of Her Favorite Things'' as part of the center's celebrity speaker's forum.
``I have the older people who remember 'The Sound of Music' and 'Mary Poppins' and children because of 'The Princess Diaries.'''
Surgery five years ago to remove non-cancerous nodes on her vocal chords damaged her throat, silencing her famous four-octave soprano singing voice.
Andrews has finished two movies for ABC's ``The Wonderful World of Disney'' based on Kay Thompson's popular ``Eloise'' children's books. The movies will air in April and toward the end of the year.
