(Tulsa, Oklahoma-AP) -- Dollar Rent-A-Car will ease restrictions on one-way rentals in the event the government suspends air travel again.

The Tulsa-based company says it will allow travelers already driving its cars to take them one way without paying drop-off or intercity charges.

The company will also increase the number of cars available for one-way rentals for travelers making new reservation after a governmental air travel shutdown.

The government grounded airplanes for two days following the September 11th, 2001, attacks.
