The show will go on for this years 75th annual Academy Awards, but there will be a few changes.

The most dramatic is the cancellation of the splashy "red carpet" stroll.

Producers for the event say many celebrities had asked to use a back entrance away from the barrage of photographers and interviewers.

The solution: the red carpet will remain, but the reporters and photographers and bleachers for fans in front of the Kodak Theatre will be gone.

Some celebrities say it would be offensive to walk the red carpet before the press and screaming fans in the midst of war.
