The Tulsa Boy's Home is making way for bigger and better facilities. Demolition started Wednesday to bring down nine existing cottages.

There are plans to rebuild six new and improved cottages, as part of an $11-million grant. The new buildings will be about twice the size as the old ones. Each will give ten to twelve boys their own rooms and bathrooms.

The project should take about a year and a half.
