(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Attorney General Drew Edmondson says consumers who have bought the anti-anxiety medication BuSpar may be eligible to receive compensation.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Company entered into a settlement agreement last week with Oklahoma and 34 other states.
The states accused the company of knowingly manipulating the US Patent and Trademark process to drive up prescription prices.
Under the settlement the company will pay more than $93-million to consumers and state and local agencies that suffered as a result of the company's practices.
Consumers who bought BuSpar between January 1st, 1998, and December 31st, 2002, are eligible for restitution.
