A section of US highway 51 closed Monday afternoon following a crane accident is open to drivers again.

The stretch of road near Mannford was entirely blocked off after the driver of a crane lost control and ran off the roadway, and then rolled over.

The crane weighed 147,000-pounds. Its size and the equipment needed to move it kept the road closed for a longer period.

Meanwhile, the driver is in good condition at a Tulsa hospital.
