The Recycle for Education partnership kicked off in Oklahoma City today with a ceremony that included Governor Brad Henry, the Oklahoma State Firefighters Association, and Staples stores.
The program encourages consumers to drop off used ink jet and toner cartridges at participating Staples stores statewide. For every cartridge deemed eligible for recycling Stapes will donate $1 to Oklahoma education.
Drop-off sites are: all Oklahoma firehouses, all GAP and GAP kids or baby stores, OEA offices.
Participating Staples stores in the Tulsa area are: 2711 South Harvard, and 10302 East 71st South in Tulsa, and stores in Muskogee, McAlester, Bartlesville, and Stillwater.
