Tulsa Public School students will make-up their missed days because of last weeks snow.
The Tulsa school board has voted to make up the time by adding half an hour to the school day. The other two days will be made up by adding 30 minutes per day for a period of five weeks.
School leaders had discussed a number of options, from trimming Spring break, to having school on Saturday's to make up for the three snow days.
This option is not set in stone. It still needs to be approved by the State Board of Education. If that's not approved, the extra days could be tacked on to the end of the year, meaning school wouldn't end until June 11th.
