Two people were killed and a bridge was heavily damaged in a four-vehicle accident near Fittstown, authorities said.

Two semi tractor-trailers collided head-on late Thursday atop Bois D'Arc Creek Bridge on Oklahoma 99, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

The accident also involved another tractor-trailer and a pickup truck, doing substantial damage to the Pontotoc County bridge, troopers reported.

The highway was closed a 7:15 p.m. and had not reopened by early Friday. The time of the accident was not immediately available.

The drivers of the first two tractor-trailers were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

The occupants of the pickup and the other semi were taken to an Ada hospital.

Ada firefighters controlled a diesel spill on the bridge, authorities said.

Also in southeastern Oklahoma, a Stroud man was killed when his tractor-trailer ran off a McIntosh County road, the highway patrol reported.

Brandon Lee Juhl, 24, died at the scene of the 7:05 p.m. accident on Thursday.

Trooper believe Juhl overcorrected a few times after his westbound semi ran off the road. The truck eventually ran into a ditch and overturned onto the driver's side. Juhl was pinned for about 30 minutes.

In southwestern Oklahoma, a 71-year-old Walters woman was killed when her vehicle collided with another on a Comanche County road.

Nadalia Overstreet suffered massive injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the 5:25 p.m. accident on Thursday.

The driver of the pickup truck was treated and released from a Duncan hospital.
