The proposed location of a memorial to remember the victims of the 1921 Tulsa Race Riots may change.

The memorial was originally planned at the Vernon AME Church in north Tulsa. But now it may be built on three acres near the downtown Inner Dispersal Loop. Tulsa Development Authority accepted the offer of $405,000 for the land.

The transaction is on the committee's agenda for its meeting Friday.
