A house fire has claimed the life of a 58 year old Wagoner man. A fire started in Johnny Kernel's living room Wednesday morning.

Fire investigators believe discarded smoking materials started the blaze. When investigators got the scene the found Kernel in the bathtub.

Investigators say there weren't any smoke detectors in the house, which may have saved the victim's life.
