(Ames, Iowa-AP) -- The Number 15 University of Oklahoma wrestling team lost to Number 21 Iowa State 27-to-19 Sunday in Ames, Iowa.

The 12-and-7 Sooners competed without Tom Grossman and All-Americans Witt Durden and Josh Lambrecht.

True freshman Teyon Ware defeated defending 141-pound national champion Aaron Holker for the second time this season.

Oklahoma's next match will be a bedlam battle against Oklahoma State on February 23rd in Stillwater.
