(Miami, Oklahoma-AP) -- Two elementary school playgrounds in Miami will again be cleaned because of lead contamination.

Superintendent Bill Stephens says he's been told by the Environmental Protection Agency that chat at Nichols Elementary and Washington Elementary will be removed.

Soil and chat at five Miami schools and an administration building were removed and replaced last summer.

A private engineer hired by two teachers found the soil at the two playgrounds hold more lead than the EPA's recommended limit.

Research has found lead can lead to learning deficiencies and other health problems in children.

The latest cleanup is to begin March 17th.
