Tulsa Public Schools is making great strides in fundraising efforts to combat its budget shortfall.
And, Tulsa area residents helped out Wednesday by going bowling for education. 20% of Wednesday's proceeds from Sahoma Lanes in Sapulpa, Riverlanes or Mickey's in Tulsa or Timberlanes in Broken Arrow were donated to help meet the Zarrow Challenge.
So far the district has collected $809,000. The Zarrow Foundation says it will match the donations up to a million dollars.
