LAWTON, Okla. (AP) _ Police detectives checking on the welfare of a resident found the bodies of two men and a woman inside a southwest-side home.
``The investigation is progressing,'' police Capt. William Mathis, commander of the criminal investigations division, said Wednesday.
``Technical investigators are inside the residence and will likely remain at the scene all day today and probably tomorrow.''
Mathis would not release the identities of the victims, saying relatives had not been notified.
The woman was 22, one man 25 and the other man 58, Mathis said.
A co-worker of one of the victims had requested that police check the residence Tuesday evening because that person had not reported to work.
A cause of death and how long the three had been dead before being discovered has not been determined. The bodies were sent to the state medical examiner's office in Oklahoma City, Mathis said.
A motive for the deaths had not been determined and no suspects have been identified.
``We haven't focused on any one individual or any individuals,'' Mathis said.
The home's owner moved out of state and the current occupants moved in a few months ago, neighbors said.
Other neighbors said they knew little about the home's residents.
Police responded to a report of a burglary at the residence Feb. 6. According to the report, $1,200 in change and poker chips, two boxes of checks and a ring were missing.
