More than a dozen teenagers found themselves in trouble with the law late Tuesday evening.
A police helicopter spotted a fire on the hill at 61st and Sheridan. The teens were apparently having a party so they built a bonfire. Tulsa Police officers and fire crews responded, and that's when the teens scattered but not for long. Tulsa Police Corporal Randall Solomon, “due to the fact it was on a hill with a wooded area, we all responded out and we have 17 juveniles in custody for curfew violations.â€
There were four girls and 13 boys rounded up, they ranged in ages from 14-to-17. None were taken to jail, but their parents were called to pick them up.
