(Norman-AP) -- The Oklahoma women's basketball team had a long day against third-ranked Kansas State.

The Wildcats handed O-U its worst loss in five seasons, beating the Sooners 74-to-45 yesterday.

Chelsi Welch led Oklahoma with 12 points. The Sooners shot just 30 percent from the field.

The victory leaves Kansas State 19-and-2 overall, 6-and-1 in the Big 12.

OU is now 13-and-7 in all games, 4-and-3 in the conference.
