Three more Oklahoma National Guard units are being activated to take part in the war on terror.
Sgt Jeff Jones is a member of the 120th engineering battalion. Jones and 600 other soldiers are answering the call to duty. They'll serve between six months and a year at an undisclosed location. Until the day comes when they leave, they're spending as much time as they can with family. Sgt Jeff Jones, National Guard member, "It's hard to explain to a three year old. Why there is a man somewhere that wants to do the things he wants to do."
Jeff’s wife, Lisa Jones, "right now it's hard to sink in. You just think, you have to get ready for it. You go day by day to see what happens."
The 120th will leave in the next 30 days. Oklahoma's Army National Guard has about 1,300 soldiers on active duty.
