A two-car accident sends one person to the hospital and heavily damages a Tulsa business.
It’s happened around midnight Sunday just east of Yale on 21st Street. Police say a pickup truck was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control, hit a sign, hopped the median, clipped another vehicle and finally slammed into a building.
Business owner, John Dugger, "I really kind of thought at first maybe someone was playing a prank and it wasn't real. But then when you look at a bumper hanging out of your business, you know it's real."
Only the driver of the truck was taken to the hospital for head injuries, no name or condition to report at this time.
Tulsa Police are investigating to see if alcohol played a role in the accident.
