The families of two missing Welch girls are frustrated that another search turned up nothing.

Ashley Freeman and Lauria Bible have been missing for three years. A tip led officers to a field near Wyandotte in Ottawa County Friday. They found some remains there earlier in the week. The medical examiner couldn't determine if it was human, so, asked for a deeper search.

The families of the missing girls of course, hope the girls are alive, but, if they are dead, want to find their bodies. Danny Freeman’s brother, Dwayne Vancil, "If this is where Lauria and Ashley are, we need to get them a proper burial to give family, friends and community closure.”

The two teenage girls disappeared on December 31st, 1999 from Ashley's home, the same night someone murdered Ashley's parents and set their home on fire.
