A skull found at a church camp in Caddo County is now headed to the state archeology office.
The state medical examiner says the skull is probably an ancient Indian skull, which are fairly common finds in the Sooner state. But, to the man who found it, he says it's something he won't forget. Dolan Dougherty, "It was pretty amazing to find it. Because you don't see that thing every day."
Dougherty found the skull while breaking up a beaver dam at the camp. The state medical examiner is almost certain it's an ancient Indian skull, but will send it to the state archeologist for tests on age and origin.
