(Norman-AP) -- What's already been a tough year has gotten even worse for the OU women's basketball team.

Forward Stephanie Simon is out for the year with a knee injury. She's the fourth player to be lost for the season due to a knee injury.

The 25th-ranked Sooners now have just ten players on the roster.

Coach Sherri Coale says Simon tore the medial neniscus in her right knee while making a post move in practice. She had surgery Tuesday night.

Simon is a former walk-on from Clinton who earned a scholarship last year.
