(Stillwater-AP) -- State officials say an audit of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education system is unfair and a waste of time.
Governor Keating ordered two separate audits of CareerTech last spring after board member Leo Baxter stepped down. Baxter had said he wasn't given enough information from CareerTech staff about what was occurring.
Stillwater Democrat Mike Morgan says Keating is wrongly targeting CareerTech and making inferences that something is wrong with the program.
The audit is expected to be released Tuesday.
