(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Big 12 Conference officials have taken their first look at Oklahoma City's new Ford Center.
And they like what they see.
Big 12 commissioner Kevin Weiberg was in Oklahoma City Saturday for the All-College Classic. Weiberg says the $90-million arena is impressive.
Tim Allen, associated commissioner of the NCAA, says he's also happy with the arena. Configured for basketball, the arena can seat more than 17,900 people.
The Big 12 Conference will host first- and second-round men's NCAA Tournament games at the Ford Center in March.
Weiberg says Oklahoma City is also being considered to host the men's and women's Big 12 Basketball tournaments.
