Assault suspect fleeing from Tulsa Police shoots and kills himself

(Tulsa-AP) -- A fugitive speeding away from Tulsa police officers got out of his vehicle and shot himself in the head. <br><br>Officers were chasing the man Friday because he was wanted for an assault.

(Tulsa-AP) -- A fugitive speeding away from Tulsa police officers got out of his vehicle and shot himself in the head.

Officers were chasing the man Friday because he was wanted for an assault.

Terreste Glass sped away from officers in his vehicle and later ditched the car and stole a wrecker.

Officer Andy Phillips says Glass got on Interstate 244 going the wrong way, then crossed the median and ran into some trees.

Glass jumped out of the wrecker with a gun in his hand, then killed himself.
