An apartment fire Thursday morning in east Tulsa sent one person to the hospital.

The fire started a little before noon at the Bristol Park Apartments at 4415 South Garnett. Sixteen units were damaged, but only ten of them occupied. Damage is estimated at around $160,000.

Tulsa Fire Department District Chief Phil Morgans, â€œIt appears to have started in the wall between the bathroom. We can't rule anything out."

One man was transported to the hospital from breathing in too much smoke.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
