(PERRY) - Former Gov. Henry Bellmon and longtime family friend Eloise Bollenbach were married Saturday, their families said.

Bellmon, 80, and Eloise Bollenbach were married in a private ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church. After the ceremony, the couple left for a honeymoon.

The family said they didn't know where or how long the couple would be gone.

Bellmon's first wife, Shirley, died in July 2000 while the family was on vacation in Cape Cod, Mass. Bollenbach and her late husband, Kingfisher rancher Irvin K. Bollenbach, were longtime friends of the Bellmons.

The couples worked together on Bellmon's first campaign for governor in 1962.

Bollenbach is a housemother at an Oklahoma State University fraternity house, she said.

Her grandson and Bellmon's grandson live in the house and got the pair together, Bollenbach said.
