WACO, Texas (AP) _ Baylor scored seven runs in the first inning, and it wasn't enough.
The Bears scored the seven runs against Oklahoma State starter Nick McCurdy, but the Cowboys responded with 11 unanswered runs against starter Steven White and reliever Trey Trey Taylor and held on to beat Baylor 11-10 Friday night.
Oklahoma State (22-7, 7-3 Big 12) scored two runs on Rob Watson's double in the second, added another run in the third, then tied the game on Paul Powell's grand slam in the fifth. Three straight walks preceded Powell's homer.
In the seventh, a one-out error in the seventh was followed by a double, triple and another double, and suddenly the Cowboys had an 11-7 lead.
The Bears scored three runs in the eighth.
