OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A third fugitive from the Logan County jail was captured Thursday night in Oklahoma County, police said.
Timothy Glenn Garner, 20, of Guthrie, was arrested by law officers about 7 p.m. as he tried to meet a woman, said Logan County Sheriff Randy Richardson.
``We received information that a female friend had picked him up and had taken him places and dropped him off,'' Richardson said. ``We don't know what he was doing or where he was going from there.''
Garner was one of four inmates who escaped from the jail Wednesday by smashing through a ceiling and an inner wall before escaping through an air conditioning duct.
Tanner Michael James, 22, and Dedrick Max Bloss, 22, both of Enid, surrendered to police Wednesday night at an Enid apartment complex.
Phillip Dean Hancock, 38, of Guthrie remains on the loose.
After he was treated for cuts he suffered when he climbed over a 10-foot fence topped with razor wire, Garner was returned Thursday night to the Logan County jail.
The four men were discovered missing by jail authorities about 6 a.m. Wednesday, Richardson said.
He said bars cover the air conditioning vents, but once the prisoners broke through the ceiling and the inner wall, they were able to get behind those bars.
The jail building is more than 100 years old and Richardson said repair work under way at the jail may have covered up some of the noise made in the escape.
Garner was being held on charges arising from a domestic dispute and an assault and battery on a police officer. Hancock faced drug charges.
Bloss and James had transferred to the Logan County Jail from other facilities.
James was serving time on multiple felony counts from Garfield County, while Bloss had been jailed on an assault charge.
The four also have been charged with escape from custody in Logan County District Court.
A fifth Logan County jail inmate was charged Thursday with attempting to escape.
Dennis Charles Swanson, 24, of Guthrie tried to escape with the others, but could not fit through an air duct, said Logan County Assistant District Attorney Vince Antonioli.
Swanson was being held for obtaining merchandise by stolen check, knowingly concealing stolen property and driving under suspension.
Wednesday's escape was the second from the Logan County jail in the past two years. Air ducts also were used in the last escape in April 2000, officials reported.
