A house fire has left a Tulsa family homeless Wednesday morning. The fire started around midnight in the garage of the home at 47th and Vancouver.
It spread to the rest of the house but crews were able to quickly get it under control. Three people were in the home when the fire started but got out safely. Tulsa Fire District Chief Rodney Mitchell, "The people that lived here were already out of the house so they told us as soon as we got here that everyone was out and alright."
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The family is staying with neighbors.
