The trial of a Tulsa man accused in a brutal double murder nearly three years ago began Monday morning.

Tulsa County prosecutors say Victor Miller robbed and killed 77-year-old Mary Bowles, and the man who came to her rescue, Jerald Thurman in 1999. George Hanson has already been convicted of the murders.

Prosecutors say they'll ask for the death penalty against Miller.
