(Norman-AP) -- The father of Oklahoma basketball coach Kelvin Sampson has undergone more surgery in San Jose, California.

Sampson says his father, Ned Sampson, had additional surgery to remove fluid that collected around his brain. Ned Sampson underwent emergency brain surgery earlier after experiencing difficulties while watching OU practice in San Jose.

OU team officials are hoping to fly Ned Sampson by private jet to Atlanta so he can watch his son's Sooners in the Final Four. Kelvin Sampson says he doesn't know if his father will be able to make the trip.
