(San Jose, California-AP) -- After a fairly trouble-free run through the West Regional, Oklahoma is headed to the Final Four on a 12-game winning streak _ the nation's longest.
The Sooners emerged from what most considered the NCAA tournament's toughest regional with a workmanlike, although foul-laden, 81-75 victory over Missouri on Saturday.
The Sooners are favored in the weekend semifinal against Indiana for a trip to their first championship game since 1988, when they lost to Kansas.
OU is 31-and-4 and a Big 12 champion, the Sooners lack the high national profile of Duke, Kansas or Maryland.
While Saturday's victory over the Tigers has been called ugly by some, coach Kelvin Sampson says the outcome is beautiful to his team.
