(Houston-AP) -- Police are searching for former Oklahoma State University and Washington Redskins defensive lineman Dexter Manley.
An arrest warrant was issued for Manley after he didn't appear in court after he was convicted last week of evidence tampering.
A jury found 43-year-old Manley guilty Wednesday for attempting to swallow a small amount of cocaine during a drug bust in Houston last year.
Manley was ordered by a district judge to return to court the next morning to meet with a probation officer but he never showed.
Manley's attorney Jonathan Munier says he doesn't know where his client is but urged him to give himself up.
Manley could face up to two years in prison and a 10-thousand dollar fine on the evidence-tampering conviction.
