New airport scanning devices may be doing their job too well. Six systems being tested in Florida right now can see through clothing to find weapons or explosives.
But, The ACLU says the systems may probe too deeply into a person's privacy - leading to embarrasment and possible harrassment.
Safety advocates assure passengers that the scanners are voluntary, but human rights watchdogs aren't convinced.
Barry Steinhardt, ACLU: "This kind of virtual strip search for those of us who fly a lot, we know that this will not remain voluntary very long. This will become mandatory."
Supporters of the new security devices say they're needed because of the possibility of more terror attacks.
