Some jazz legends are coming to Green Country. The Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame announced their new inductees for 2002.
Among the honorees, Dave Brubeck, who will also perform while he's in town. Brubeck is a leading figure in jazz mainstream and tours all around the country with the Brubeck Quartet.
Several Oklahomans will also be recognized. Claremore’s singing rage, Miss Patti Page will be honored along with Tulsans Willie Earl Clark, Carlton Pearson, and Oklahoma native Jesse Davis. Cassandra Gaines and Wayman Tisdale will also be honored for their contributions to jazz.
The gala is June 19th.
