An accident took the life of the father of former OU football coach John Blake.

Funeral services for James Blake Sr have been scheduled for this Saturday. Blake died from injuries he suffered in this accident Saturday night. Police say Blake was driving a pick-up on the Tisdale Expressway when he realized he was on the wrong side of the road. He crossed over to get into the proper lane but lost control and hit a snow bank. The truck flipped and Blake was partially ejected.

James Blake was 64-years-old.
