There is a new fire chief at the Tulsa Fire Department. Mayor Susan Savage announced that Assistant Chief Allen LaCroix will take over the job.
LaCroix has served with the department for 26 years. He takes over for Tom Baker who retired last month. "I have huge shoes to fill, our past fire chief Tom Baker is such a part of our fire services, known throughout the country as one of the most progressive."
Chief LaCroix has been a fire equipment operator, fire captain, investigator, a chief of staff and fire marshal. Now he adds this latest title to his list.
