One eastern Oklahoma ambulance service is closing and another could do the same soon because Medicare reimbursements are dropping.
The Claremore Ambulance Rescue and Emergency Services will surrender its license in April. Muldrow EMS hopes to stay open. Both services are independently owned and receive no public funds.
