Green Country kids got a taste of the classics Thursday from the Tulsa Philharmonic.

After a brief lesson from the conductor on the fundamentals of what makes up an orchestra, the Philharmonic went to work. The series, called "Music Makes Us Move" teaches students how music, rhythm, and movement work together.

About 4,000 children from local schools attended the two-day event.
