An Owasso man died following an accident between a semi and pick-up truck.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver of the pick-up apparently lost control and crossed the median near 116th Street North and Highway 75. He crashed head on into the semi nearly ripping the pickup in half and throwing the driver from the truck. The 22-year old driver was taken to a Tulsa hospital, where he died Monday morning.

The driver of the semi wasn't hurt. A driver and passengers in a third vehicle, involved in the accident were treated for minor injuries at a Tulsa hospital and released.
