A Muskogee family buried their 5-year-old daughter Monday, but questions remain over whether her death could have been prevented.
5-year-old Elizabeth Gatzman suffered from a throat condition that apparently cut off her breathing. Her family says the surgery to correct it was postponed, but they later had to rush her to Muskogee hospital when she stopped breathing. She was then airlifted to St Francis in Tulsa where she died last Wednesday.
The family has indicated there was some sort of problem with their insurance but couldn't say anymore at this time.
