US Senator Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma is talking about his recent tour at Guantanamo Bay.

He was one of 20 members of Congress who visited the detention facility known as Camp X-Ray that is holding Afghan detainees. The tour was held to show the progress of the interrogations and to see the conditions under which the detainees are living.

We spoke to him Monday about his reaction to the treatment. "Let me tell you, they've never had it so good, down there. In terms of clothing, each one is issued a new uniform, I don’t' think most of them have had anything new in their lives. Their housing isn't that bad, they have port a johns there, and they have their own bunk."

Senator Inhofe says compared to the tent city our troops are living in there, the detainees are living better. But he adds that morale among the troops in Guantanamo Bay is great.
