A Tulsa judge decided Friday that the suspected killer of a mailman is competent to stand trial.

Proseuctors charged Jason Weed with shooting 30-year-old Robert Jenkins in December. Tulsa Police say Weed opened fire outside his apartments, killing Jenkins, who was delivering mail.

They say Weed may have been under the influence of drugs at the time.
